Sorry for neglecting the story, I’ve been away and busy with work and my son.  I hate missing my six sentence Sundays.  If you hadn’t followed along or simply forgot what was going on, read the prior posts.  This comes from my WIP, “The Devil’s Angel”.

If it’s your first time reading this, and you like it, come on back each week.  If you just like me, feel free to follow me on Twitter!

Sam smiled and nodded.  His teeth gleamed.

“Why?”, Jason asked.

“Because it’s what I do Jason”, Sam said, “but be certain, it won’t be any time soon.”

“Why is that?”, Jason asked with an attempt to make his voice sound bold.

“Well son, we have a lot of work to do.”

As always, feel free to leave a comment or a correction.  I welcome all criticism and use it to get better.

Good morning Sunday crew.  I actually forgot about my six sentences this week, so I’m scrambling to put it together.  Not that anyone needs to know or even cares.

This week’s portion of The Devil’s Angel continues with Jason having figured out the mysterious man he’s with is something or someone quite evil.

If it’s your first time reading this, and you like it, come on back each week.  If you just like me, feel free to follow me on Twitter!

Jason steadied himself against the banister.   He showed courage even though fear made his legs weak enough to buckle.

“Why do you call yourself Sam?”, Jason asked.

“It’s short for Sammael”, Sam said.

“Are you planning to kill me too?”, Jason asked.

He knew the answer without hearing it.

Jason wiped his cheek and lunged towards the top of the stairs, prepared to hurt Sam.

Sam’s grin turned sinister and his pupils glowed scarlet.

Jason froze.  His suspicions were confirmed.

“I know who you are”, Jason said.

“I’m glad you do young man”, Sam replied.

We make some progress in the meeting between Jason and Sam, and we’ve finally discovered what happened to Father Joe.  Here’s another six.

“No”, Jason said, dropping to one knee at the base of the steps.

Immediately he checked Father Joe’s pulse.  Nothing.  Jason peered back up at Sam with tears glimmering in his eyes.

“You did this”, Jason said.

Sam held the banister and grinned.

I like where it’s going, and I hope you do too.  As always, feel free to leave a comment or a correction.  I welcome all criticism and use it to get better.
