Happy Sunday,

If it’s your first time reading this, and you like it, come on back each week.  If you just like me, feel free to follow me on Twitter!

This six comes from my 2012 NaNoWriMo Entry that I’m currently working on.  It started from this short flash fiction piece on writing.com, and I’ve decided to expand on the Warlock character.  This is very early in the piece where the character is being introduced.

Please enjoy.

Arthur took a mug from the cabinet and placed it on the Formica counter.  He went to the fridge, grabbed the cream and poured some sweet n lo into his mug.  He took a spoon from the drawer under the counter, stirred his coffee and sat down at the kitchen table.  Arthur flipped his laptop open and began reading the news on the web.  He sipped his coffee and kept taking mental notes of the clock on the bottom tool bar of the computer.

“I really don’t want to go there”, he said to himself.

As always, feel free to leave a comment or a correction.  I welcome all criticism and use it to learn and become better at this craft.

See you next Sunday!

Happy Sunday,

If it’s your first time reading this, and you like it, come on back each week.  If you just like me, feel free to follow me on Twitter!

This six is a continuation of last week’s entry, my very short flash fiction piece that I entered on writing.com.

The Warlock and Vanessa remain in his tower, he holds her body close, as his spell has seemingly taken her over.  To read the prior entries leading to this one, just check out my last few Six Sunday entries throughout this blog.

Enjoy.

She opened her mouth and bared her fangs.  She bit into the warlock’s neck and drank his blood until he was dead.  His body hit the floor at Vanessa’s feet.  She picked up his cane then wiped the blood from her lips and opened the door leading out of the tower.  Vanessa looked back at the dead warlock.

“Your magic was worthless, madman”, Vanessa said.

See you next Sunday!
